In the last years, a new computer-related trend invaded almost all the households around the world: The webcams. What took a big percent of people to acquire this product that, in other times, was unthinkable of? With no doubts, at first two features: low price and simplicity to use. It works as simple as it could be. The most difficult part, sometimes, is to open the box it comes in.
Using a webcam you can talk in real time with anyone, anywhere in the world by video images and audio. That includes making video-conferences, and even so, domestic vigilance. The Connection speed depends on modem capacity. Dial-up 56k modem does not transfer a good rate of image and sound to the other computer you will be connected to with the webcam. The most indicated is broadband modem, which according to speed permitted by the internet provider, might reach higher than 1G of speed.
